It's homosexual behaviour and relationship happening there and refusal using accurate words to describe it is homophobic. It's not less homosexual because one of them could be with the opposite sex elsewhere. It's still very homosexual attraction, behaviour, and relationship.

It's homosexual behaviour and relationship happening there, and to describe it, accurate words should be used, not words that also refer to straight people who cross-dress. It's a form of homophobia to refuse to name things as they are.

That's not how words function. It's homosexual behaviour and relationship happening there, and to describe that we use accurate terms. Their homosexual aka gay relationship isn't less homosexual because one of them could be with the opposite sex elsewhere.

@molstutz One form of any discrimination is the refusal of naming things. Accurate words for describing homosexual behaviour and relationship is important. Absolutely no reason to hide that behind words that also refer to straight people who cross-dress.

Having to keep discussing gay vs queer is the kind of litigation that does nothing for progress or protecting our rights. The point of the acronym is to be categorically broad and inclusive. Insisting something can ONLY be gay serves no one.

You can conceptualise phenomena as you like, but many gays don't want it and don't do it the same way. There's absolutely no reason to lump the same-sex sexual attraction with people who have issues with their own sex and of whom many are straight.

@Ellie_Actually I'm not conservative; for example, always voted left. More and more reasonable gays and lesbians see how harmful gender identity theory is for us and don't want that OUR words are redefined or our homosexual behaviour hidden behind some undefined and vague words.
