Most of my non-profit clients are fighting over money and afraid to talk about it with philanthropy because there’s no safe space to discuss how the non profit industrial complex exacerbates systemic inequities and perpetuates lateral violence. Just puttin’ it out there.

The footprint of mass incarceration isn't just in how many people are locked up. It's also the ~3 million people on probation and ~1 million people on parole today- systems so restrictive that many people under supervision say they'd rather just be in prison.
