@Hraefnwudu @JoeHellas @wylfcen I've read Pausanias awhile back, and regardless of what he claims heavily, anthropomorphic idols were favored by Greeks even in the early archaic period. He's giving his own opinion nothing more.Tacitus may not have ever met any Germanic pagans just something to think about
English

@Hraefnwudu @JoeHellas @wylfcen This doesn't make it anything and you can't use his mentions of xoana to back up anything about Germanic pagans because he never wrote about them that's the point. You're taking snippets and making narratives out of them do better
English

@AdamTheBadam_ @UsyksBurner Go fuck your sister or something

My goodness…. His legs are SHOT TO BITS

@CultKithKin @CoreyJMahler You're afraid because your religion is dying so you'll slander us to make yourself feel better but meanwhile real pagans are @Tom_Rowsell @HammerandVajra @KyleDNorroena @Trierarch81 and more. We're really polytheists as are hundreds of or thousands of us offline as well as online
English

@CultKithKin @CoreyJMahler Cope and yes, we do.I can personally attest to many dozens of pagans who believe in European Gods, and it's not God's it's Gods
English

@UsyksBurner Tbh he never had good legs 😭 as soon as fury exposed that he’s never been the same since
Hell of an exciting fighter tho
English

@MekunTizichi Are you capable of not repeating yourself and actually reading what I've said to see where you're wrong at?
English

@MekunTizichi Like I already said, I won't entertain your argument when you open it with blatant misinformation, so go back and reread what I've said instead of repeating yourself. You even started with the so called wolf cross then jumped right into your opinions on it
English

@MekunTizichi I don't care how you think they viewed the faith when most of your premise is wrong regarding Germanic peoples and Christianity. Leading with "every time Germanic people came into contact with Christianity they automatically wanted to convert" is just wrong on many levels
English

@MekunTizichi Again, you're wrong and not even willing to do some basic research. The Saxons,Frisians,Viking age Norway,Sweden, etc. all resisted Christianity largely, and even Sweden was still nominally pagan into the 1100s CE or later
English

@OfficialShagrat @BoxingNewsED That doesn't mean at all that he's not strong because we can all tell you're focused on aesthetics, nothing more.I can guarantee you that he'd flatline your entire immediate male lineage
English

@BoxingNewsED Awful bicep genetics. Unfortunately I can sympathise.
English

@MekunTizichi If you're going to be disingenuous, go somewhere else because you can't use a few Germanic peoples and ignore how the rest refused to convert or were forced to convert via top-down means, i.e. King or prince or through military force, which happened more than you want to admit
English

@MekunTizichi The Lombards didn't switch anything they had a syncretized religion, and that's still not addressing how even the Saxons and Frisians both refused Christianity until Charlemagne forced them to convert
English

@Hraefnwudu @JoeHellas @wylfcen No, I'm right about you not knowing what you're talking about, especially that part where you tried to use Pausanias
English

@LordIxabert @Tom_Rowsell There's no logical way you can be pagan Christian
English

@Tom_Rowsell One can be a pagan atheist, a pagan Christian, a pagan Jew, a pagan Buddhist. It's not a religion.
English
Warren O'Ceallaigh retweetledi

@LordIxabert @Tom_Rowsell It's absolutely a religious term and yeah it is more of an umbrella term
English

@Tom_Rowsell It's not a religion. So it can't be the fourth largest one.
