Because its makes them feel like rap elites simply because they listen to people like Gibbs, Nack, Lupe, Earl Sweatshirt, jpegmafia etc. Drake to them is what hip hop should Look like. They think it should look like ppl like Kendrick. They claim lack of growth, but aside from Kendrick, Lupe and Earl many of the artists like Pusha, currensy been doing talking about the shit for years. Whenever Drake shatters their idea of rap, the rules change. He also do a lot of the shit they claim Kendrick out here doing too but that’s another discussion.
