He joins legendary Ram Jack Christiansen, who coached the @49ers from 1963-67 and is the only @CSURam in the @ProFootballHOF. I still remember Klint saving CSU’s win over Houston in 2008 with an amazing defensive play in the end zone.

I couldn’t be happier for @klintkubiak504 , who confirmed last night that he will be the next head coach of the @Raiders. Klint was one of the all-time good guys while playing at @ColoradoStateU and now becomes just the 2nd former @CSUFootball player to become an @NFL head coach.

Rams break a 22-year drought at Falcon Stadium! I remember the 2002 win well: I was hosting the Sonny Lubick Show on 9News. I also had a 6 week old daughter & pumped milk in my freezing car at halftime (nowhere to go in the press box). Thankful times have changed for moms AND the Rams escaped with a W!😅

The #Browns announced that LB Christian Kirksey and WR Rashard Higgins are retiring from the NFL and both players will sign one-day contracts with the organization to make it official.

When Hal found out that I was going to work as a sports writer for The Coloradoan he was so danged proud. Funny thing is, I never addressed any of the coaches I covered as “coach.” But Hal, who was never my coach, was different. RIP to the only man I called “coach.”

So sad to hear of the passing of Hal Kinard. He was a legendary PE teacher at the “old” Lincoln Jr. High and coaches basketball. He was a tireless advocate for kids from disadvantaged backgrounds. It wasn’t until later that I learned he was a standout player for @CSUMBasketball.

Jack Christiansen is on the @ColoradoStateU Mount Rushmore - the only Ram in the @ProFootballHOF and he's also in the CSU and Colorado sports halls. Fum McGraw, another Ram legend, won 2 titles with the Lions before a knee injury ended his career in '54.
