Unfortunately it is VT/BTV policy for decades never to provide a single cent of truly a affordable rent assistance (30% income max rent), the 1 n 7 VT renters enjoying this all from feds(14,000, half need). VT homelessness, a condition dictated by VT and BTV!

Time for action not research, 50%+ US increase ped deaths since 2010 (current road death excess yearly pandemic level 21,000). Key actions needed at all levels, setting speed limits at least down to 20 mph, full automated speed enforcement…plus ped proven safety roundabouts.

VT/BTV does zilch, 0, nada, to provide rental support for low income…need 19,000 with 16,000, 1 in 7 VT renters, get fed help (30% income max rent). VT seems at war on poor. 24% non-profit renters pay in excess 30% income rent. No state housing plan.
