They would have won more but Shaq was relying too much on Kobe to carry them and Shaq gets to feast on weak centers in the Finals after Kobe does most of the dirty work through the season and the Western Playoff juggernauts Kobe was the true leader and best player on the team from 2001 - 2004.

This game is a great example of why I roll my eyes whenever people say they can’t wait for LeBron to leave. He’s really effing good. Yes, he comes with some extra stuff, but he’s still more than worth it on nights like these.
