Munster Rugby, all rugby, cycling, all sports in general but not soccer. When will they admit lockdown was a disastrous idea?

The reality for Dublin is that they're behind Westmeath, Meath and Louth in Leinster And their own fans have abandoned them so Croke Park is more of a disadvantage than an advantage Never thought i'd see the day ( and they played well today)

Desperate crowd in Croke Park for Dublin and Louth I said at the start of the year Dublin should move back to Parnell Park

Tadej Pogačar rides with a watch that cannot tell him a single thing he needs to know. Not his power. Not his heart rate. Not the gap to the break. It doesn’t even keep better time than the £40 Casio on the wrist of the bloke commuting to work on a Tuesday morning. It’s a Richard Mille RM 67-02. Worth around €300,000. The price of a house. Sit with that in this sport of all sports. We drill holes in chainrings to lose five grams. We shave tyres with a razor. Teams weigh socks. The whole religion is less. Less weight, less drag, less anything between you and the road. Then the best rider of his generation straps a small fortune to his wrist and wears it everyday. In the biggest races. But it’s so so cool. The watch nerd in me has to defend it. The RM 67-02 weighs 32 grams. Thirty-two. Lighter than the gels in your jersey pocket. No battery, because his own movement winds it. Grade 5 titanium, composite case, built like a part of the bike. As an object it’s astonishing. It also measures nothing. And that’s the point. The watch isn’t function. It’s signal. In the most data-obsessed sport on earth, the very best wear the one thing on their body that ignores the data completely. If you had the cash would you buy it ? (I’d be tempted)

Re-Turn: Bin raiding is now a primary source of litter across Dublin, costing taxpayers an extra €500k+. Medical experts have called for the introduction of “infection-control measures” because bottles are toxic. Shops are being charged 2.2c per container. This fee is set to rise. Meanwhile ReTurn sits on €100m cash. 5 key Management paid €1.1million. 12 Non-Executive directors share €600k PR Budge: €4.6million Operation Support: €1.4million Office & Admin: €1.8million IT costs: €2.8million What is “operation support”?? On top of all this the board decided they needed to start a lobbying campaign to get VAT tax exemptions. So they hired a Fine Gael councillor to lobby Fine Gael Ministers. Take a minute to think about all of this. This is quintessential Ireland 2026. We are living through a lost decade of abundant wealth and surplus. No new roads. No public transport. No schools, teachers, houses Instead we get ReTurn. We get ReThink, IHREC, IPAS, SEIC, Coimisiún na Meán & hundreds of NGOs None of these entities are innovating or creating real productive employment. American capitalism is fuelling Irish socialism.

Re-Turn is the scam that keeps on scamming. Fine Gael councillor was hired by Re-Turn to lobby a Fine Gael Minister to remove 23% VAT on the unclaimed bottles!! The councillor previously worked for the PR company Teneo whose client is ReTurn. ReTurn is sitting on €100m after just one year but they’re still not happy. They wanted tax exemptions on top. A humiliation gravy train.

You'd assume that an asylum seeker who is threatening a fellow migrant so much that she has to go to the gardai about him, that in any "rules" based system he'd have been immediately deported, but of course that would be against his "human rights" so instead he goes on to kill

Major milestone reached for the Celtic Interconnector: onshore cable works in Ireland are now complete, bringing 🇮🇪 and 🇫🇷 one step closer to a shared energy future. Once operational, the 500km subsea link will power up to 450,000 homes and strengthen Europe’s energy security.

FR-UK Rugby YouTube channel just announced they have rights to show the Top 14 final next month! They do a great job broadcasting Pro D2 with English commentary and exude real enthusiasm for the games. So really pleased for them to get the rights for such a big match.

Talking about a "managed defeat" when there are 10 senior players out injured, and the supposed remedy to this is to give a guy who turned 20 this year his first-ever pro start at #10 in a playoff game in Pretoria. Let's give the young lad a chance to develop normally.

Maybe rather than outbidding young couples for €1m houses, the IRFU could've used its funds bridge the gap between what Leinster were offering James Lowe and what he wanted or found a home for him at another province on a central deal? After all, Andy Farrell wants to keep him
