Inspiring talk from our @ISQIC1 keynote speaker and Founding Director @kbilimoria at our 9th Annual Conference. A great reminder of where ISQIC came from, what we’ve achieved, and where we can go together as a two state collaborative.

🎓Today, we celebrated the graduation of the first IU Surgery QI Leaders Program cohort! These leaders are driving meaningful change by tackling real-world quality initiatives and presenting their outcomes. Some of our faculty graduates couldn’t attend the celebration, but we snapped a great group photo with those who did. 👏Congratulations to all our graduates and welcome to the next cohort joining the journey. #QualityImprovement #IUSurgery @michelesaysana @kbilimoria @TonyYangMD @jonathanfridell

Legendary surgeon, Nat Soper, was our visiting prof this week. Many faculty at @IU_Surgery worked for him at Northwestern, trained under him, or partnered with him in @SAGES_Updates. A pioneer in laparoscopy & an outstanding leader, he led Northwestern Surgery to its highest point in its history. Now he is now having an incredible impact at U of Arizona Phoenix. A wonderful human, mentor, and friend. I’m sure all of us, and friends who are still at Northwestern, miss having you as our chair.
