@younghavok In both instances they came out over a year later so they SHOULD have been more powerful. The PS1’s price had lowered to $199 by the time of the N64 release and the PS2 had a DVD player which were still in the $200 range by themselves.

@Tony_Baloney83 The n64 was more powerful than the PlayStation but cost less. The GameCube was more powerful than the ps2 but cost less. N64 carts were expensive to produce so that’s an outlier.

“Nintendo introduced $80 games!” So? Yall told Nintendo you were cool with $60 games when they charged 50. Cool with $70 games when they charged 60. Cool paying for online when they gave it for free. Cool with $300 consoles when they charged 2. Notice the pattern here?

@younghavok That’s not what i think. That’s what it was. And by the way, Nintendo was charging over $70 for games on the N64 while virtually all games for the PS1 and Saturn were $50 or less.

@Tony_Baloney83 Unless you count healthcare. I think of service jobs as jobs not manufacturing, creating, building things. Everyone in my neighborhood has a tech job. All my friends are in the Trades or Healthcare. Having a low paying job is a choice, we live in a country full of opportunities.

I literally just said they employ more people than anyone else. They also get government subsidies for doing so, so they SHOULD pay people more but they don’t because they need to appease their billionaire investors. They are a cancer that you’re too stupid to recognize.

@Tony_Baloney83 We are in the middle of a construction and tech boom simultaneously. Construction jobs offer paid apprenticeships that start at $25 with health insurance/pension and end up at $50-80. They are all desperate for help. I dont know anybody who works a service job personally.

@Tony_Baloney83 You still don't have to work at Walmart. If people chose not to work there they would be forced to raise wages. Lucky for them there is an abundance of unambitious people. Anybody working g at Walmart has the option to go make more money somewhere else.
