I have seen many Obidients attack Morris Monye for calling on “NDC supporters globally to organize” ahead of the campaigns. Obidients need to be less overzealous. Morris was critical in mobilizing voters in the 2023 general elections. You may dislike him or have your reservations but you can’t deny the fact that he was instrumental in the Obidient movement. Not many Obidients have an idea why he stepped down as the Director of Mobilization for the Obidient Movement. Castigating him for taking a decision you have zero knowledge of the circumstances that brought about it is irrational. Ahead of 2027, you need as many forces as possible. Peter Obi can’t do the grassroots mobilization. It is still Obidients and concerned Nigerians who will. Morris is a strong influence in this regard. Having him back in the movement is a huge plus not a minus.✍️

Lemme bite… If the @NigeriaNDCHQ allows @Morris_Monye anywhere near to mobilize/organize ANYTHING both local and internationally, I’ll know the party does not only not have concrete security structure for protecting itself towards 2027, but also tells me the kind of person @PeterObi is (because Morris is ABSOLUTELY FUCKING replaceable till after election if he’s ever relevantly needed by then!). And it will set a precedent that says “NDC doesn’t uphold fairness”, because I can promise my arse cheeks that there are more competently loyal people within the OKmovement to champion local and diaspora mobilizations, and that person is NOT morris - who was happy to confidently make smear remarks on PO on national press because he couldn’t “push” PO. There are a lot of people within the NDC especially closely (@EstherUmoh10, @TheSerahIbrahim and others…) I want to believe are intelligently smart enough to disregard ANY reason to consider having morris back around this campaign going forward. And I need @NigeriaNDCHQ to make a public announcement on clear leadership regarding diaspora mobilizations towards 2027 election (support, funding - donations, etc), because I also do NOT trust ulterior motives not to happen behind scenes, in the guise of “I am working with/part of PO/NDC team”.
