I just quit my 9-5. It felt f*cking good. Was it because I was making enough money online? No. Not even close. Let me explain: I accepted a remote work position at a company I strongly believe in. Not only will I be getting first-hand sales experience with a product I believe in, I will be able to scale my digital skills. MUCH easier. However, It was a difficult decision to make. Giving up a promising corporate career path was INSANELY hard. Here's where things get interesting: I know my limits. If I allowed myself to have the option of continuing to live a comfortable life, I might have never decided to go "all in." I knew what I had to do. Put my back against the wall. I won't even give myself the option to give up my dreams anymore. I have no other choice. I HAVE to win. It's terrifying. It stresses me out. It feels like I tossed away a career path others dream of. Fun fact: I didn't dream of it. I hated it. Life is too short not to take a shot in the dark and believe in yourself. So that's what I'm doing. My back is against the wall. The only option is forward. The future will always be foggy and riddled with uncertainty. All you can do is see the step in front of you. Just. Start. Walking.
