@tommy20times Well done Tommy that was seriously warm for running today plus to get through that barrier of pain and thoughts of giving up, we will run a half together to get that 1.30 soon

The sub 1.30 attempt that became a 1.36 and the closest I've ever come to a DNF was on target and felt good for about halfway but mother nature handed my ass back at around 16.5k left leg spasm/cramp twice more and right leg literally on the line ..fought hard but lost badly

Maybe it's because we only remember our last race but this was tough especially the last 3k on trail along the canal ran it the way I hope to run Ratoath half in 3 weeks huge fecking doubts I can hold that pace for another 5k but with 3 weeks to go I'm on target @ev_runs

A fun experience this evening in the lovely Omeath and the longwomans 5k where your basically bussed up the Cooley mountains and you race back ..definitely irelands fastest 5k though won't be accepting the pb but good fun and plenty of local faces including our RD @Tonywalsh40

Just got greeted at hotel reception with good evening Senor ..had to look outdoor to see was I in killarney or Spain and with the blue skies I still wasn't sure

Run 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ walk 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️, Volunteering 🙋‍♀️ 🙋‍♂️ whichever you choose your guaranteed to enjoy parkrun mentioned to me this morning it's the new routine for many of you it can be a new PB a achievement to do the 5k, or just to meet up with like minded people to enjoy a chat and a cuppa

@justmichello We just turned up, 5 min walk into the concert, cost's €10 no booking needed, bar and toilets open, the only problem was the road was closed to traffic for 30 mins after the concert but bar was open.

@Tonywalsh40 What’s the deal with parking at the cricket club ? Is it open to the public ? Do you have to prebook etc ? Thanks

"One run can change your day, many runs can change your life" and we have no 143 done and dusted the day started with ideal running conditions with mild temperatures and dry but 20 mins in the 🌧 came down in bucket 🪣 fulls to keep the 43 participants well hydrated 😀

I met a Dub in a bar in Sydney about 20 yrs ago what part of Dublin you from says I "Tallaghfornia where the sun always shines" says he and both laughed. Well the sun didn't shine but thankfully the rain stayed off till after the race well done to Tallaght Ac on a great event
