.@SJUHawks_MBB heads to the Pit for the first time since '99-'00. Hawks played there 2 days before Y2k on 12/30/99 and won 81-76. Tuesday will be only the third all-time meeting between the two schools.

Saint Joseph’s defense in final 8 minutes or so was lockdown. Derek Simpson ran the offense beautifully and hit a big 3 late. Jaiden Glover-Toscano was terrific on both ends of the court. This team does not want to turn in its uniforms.

Ticket (Jaden Smith) had only hit 1 three all year but I’ve been telling people for months that he’s capable. Feek’s 3-pt shooting has gone way up since right before the Mason home win. Extra motivation for Ticket tonight playing against his old HS & AAU teammate Dai Dai Ames.

There was a time that this game was nearly completely off the rails. Khaafiq Myers and Jaden Smith both made big plays off the bench to slowly start to turn the tide. Those two deserve credit.

Convulsions have stopped. Wildest comeback I’ve ever been part of. 61-42 at 13 & a half to go. Cal was 17-1 when leading at the half & the only halftime lead it had blown prior to was at Wake Forest on March 7th (also 8). NIT quarters for 1st time since 04-05!! #THWND
