Most welcome sequences are more complicated than they need to be. You usually only need: • a clear welcome • one useful insight • a relatable problem • a simple solution • a soft invitation to work together Simple sequences build trust faster than overproduced funnels.

The older I get, the more aware I am of how little time there is. Days and weeks fly by. This is making me much more selective. The projects I take on. The people I see. The content I consume. Really beginning to appreciate the maxim that if it isn’t a hell yeah, it’s a no.

A lot of the emails I get from founders are now written in a hard-hitting journalistic style. I know they're written by AI, because no founder ever wrote this way before. And once you realize something is written by AI, it's hard not to ignore it.
