@mistereastcoast do you hate all israelis on the basis of where they were born, a fact they can’t control?

Israelis want the watermelon back

Catherine Rampell, co-host of MSNBC’s The Weekend: Primetime, asked Palestinian Pulitzer Prize-winning author Mosab Abu Toha if he would like to clarify a Facebook post he wrote months ago about Israeli soldier Emily Damari, who was captured by Palestinian resistance fighters during the October 7 attacks. Damari, recently released, expressed outrage at Abu Toha’s Pulitzer win in a letter to the Pulitzer board. She wrote, “He posted about me on Facebook and asked, ‘How on earth is this girl called a hostage?’” Abu Toha, a poet and survivor of Israeli detention, was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary for his dispatches from Gaza in The New Yorker, which chronicled life under bombardment and siege. His recognition marked a rare acknowledgment of Palestinian narratives in U.S. media. The way he responded reflects what it means to be a Palestinian.

@joeroganhq Dude. I now know why he is such good friends with the president.

When an ex Sde Teiman guard said on Israeli TV that his "Hilltop dog" "[t]ook care of [ ] Nukhbas in Sde Teiman", what did he mean? When a co-panelist said "Don't say things [like] that . . [t]here is a video already," was he referring to the infamous "rape video" from the camp?
