Fun fact, he did. Well, a financial one. All of these parodies were forbidden to be animated to life, making this one of the earliest instances of Hollywood preventing the creation of a toon for purely personal reasons. Also I'm pretty sure he decked one of the animators. -Wheezy

For the filming of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” Bob Hoskins literally trained himself to hallucinate the Toons. To make the interactions feel real (there were no stand-ins or motion-capture yet), Hoskins deliberately practiced “hallucinating” Roger, Jessica, and the weasels so he could look them in the eye and react naturally. After six months of 16-hour days on greenscreen sets, he couldn’t turn it off. Post-wrap, he’d be having normal conversations and suddenly see weasels crawling out of walls or rabbits popping up. He called it his “greatest ordeal” and said it “screwed up my brain.” The hallucinations were so severe that physicians told the British actor to step away from work immediately after the 1988 shoot. He followed the advice…aggressively...vanishing from screens until 1990’s "Heart Condition." The film’s massive success only made the mental decompression weirder; he later joked that the voice of Roger was “there just behind the camera all the time.” #DisneyFacts
