It's the younger generation on here that do it. The older ones have seen it all before. Everyone on that list above was bigged up exactly the same. Lewis Gibson another one....literally tears on here when Everton nicked him from us....yet did absolutely nothing there. I know we have improved our set-up in recent years but I have to laugh when people are bigging up 14 and 15 year olds as "ones to watch". Alex Murphy is another great example....the lad is nearly 23 years old FFS! 🤣 #NUFC

It’s not as important to have them in for pre season this year because we play 1 game a week and secondly most the players we will be looking at miss it anyway due to holidays after participating in the World Cup #nufc

The clock is ticking to make more signings....but another troubling aspect is that these signings won't have much time to bed in before the season starts. We're so short on numbers, they literally all have to hit the ground running. It'll be catastrophic if they don't. #NUFC

@YSLRNUFC @jasemoore1103 It's more the fact that most of them are going to be starters due to how many players we've lost so far and still plan to lose. Pope, Trippier, Bruno, Tonali and Gordon were all starters last season. Almost half the starting 11 replaced! If they don't gel, we're screwed.

Usually, a team could get away with making late signings. Players could come in late and be held back until they get up to speed. We won't have that luxury because all these incomings are replacing key starters like Gordon, Tonali, Pope, maybe Bruno, etc. #NUFC
