If this works, and the economy is being driven by the 'wealthy', why is everyone else in a cost of living crisis?

Yes. It is best to leave wealth with people who understand it rather than give it to the government to waste. Wealthy people don’t actually hoard it, it doesn’t just sit there waiting to be spent - it is invested, lent, risked and deployed across business, pensions, infrastructure etc… driving economic activity, thus creating jobs, wages and growth. The problem with not understanding wealth and thinking tax and redistribution is a solution is that it attacks the very thing you want to solve.

If these rumours about Enzo being available are true, it sums up the model perfectly. You keep a player until his peak years, let him raise his profile/level then cash in and replace him with someone younger, cheaper, and unproven, hoping they might fill the gap. I don’t envisage a time where we see players hit their peak at Chelsea anymore. It’s a trading model and not a football one. It’s not befitting of an elite club like Chelsea.

Gold added roughly $10 trillion in marketcap last year. It wouldn't surprise me if some of that profit is rotated/diversified into bitcoin.
