Reality in UAE  Balanced view from a 5 year resident Non-Concerns Close to zero concern about drones and missiles  Iran are not targeting civilians UAE air defences are close to impenetrable Concerns (Economic) Most don’t impact me as a Trader but my observations  Systemic support  The UAE already launched a financial stimulus package for Banks designed to keep liquidity in the system, avoiding a 2008 scenario Short term impact Jobs exposed to real estate / tourism are already being cut - multiple friends are impacted Stimulus packages are not YET extended directly to businesses, some weak businesses will fail Holiday homes empty during peak season, liquidity stress building Fearful investors pausing transactions If the orange man leaves the region within the month UAE snaps back fast Capital returns  Hiring resumes Buyers step back in Blessed are the peacemakers
