Getting a msg like this yesterday made me feel like I do have a place. I know I troll way too often. I do not think before I speak and I have no self control. But this msg yesterday had me holding back a waterfall of tears.

What do yall think? I'm Thinking about throwing a $1,000 Halo invitational. Idea: • 1 Pro • 1 Top AM (can’t have made pool play last 2 seasons) • 1 Caster • 1 Content Creator Maybe 8 teams, double elim (or Swiss). The only issue… I’d want to play in it too 😅 But hosting and playing feels kinda weird. Is that breaking an unspoken rule?

@JettyDJ This is more of an opinion nothing I stated is factual as of yet. I just see a small org hosting a tourney and losing out on potential rev/sponsorship opportunities down the road for not hitting numbers.

@JettyDJ I am speculating here, but I do not think many people actually do. There was a halo event over the weekend, and the amount of people I saw in stream title 'LVT Halo WATCHPARTY' Makes me doubt that they all asked for permission to watch party.

-HOT TAKE-I think watch parties ruin events for small tournament organizers. If you are going to watch party an event you should have to pay a % of your revunue from streams to tournament organizers.
