I’m absolutely terrified that this is where we are - that after so many decades of people fighting for women’s rights to their own bodies, today’s decision has stripped us of that.

So if a woman is raped at gunpoint and becomes pregnant, the gun is the most protected party in that situation.

this is genuinely depressing. how is a headscarf/hijab, religious or otherwise, seen as anything but neutral? and even as a religious garment, banning people’s ability to wear them freely doesn’t help foster a more tolerant society whatsoever.
