One of our favourite salads in the city Liberty Shawarma, Riverside & CityPlace… Greens, beans, pickles, fried eggplant, chicken shawarma, hummus holding it all together, and that green hot sauce that hits and lingers. Messy, loud, completely dialled. This is how we lunch 🇱🇧

Back in the 6ix… and our Natas tour rolls on. This time, the Junction. Gaspar Cafe… tucked away, no noise, no shortcuts… just people who very clearly know what they’re doing. Best of ’26 so far! 🇵🇹

Dans les Cantons-de-l’Est, y savent comment faire un club sandwich comme du monde. Pas compliqué, juste parfait. Le Resto Route 139 à Sutton fait ça en plein dans le mille. Rien de fancy… juste un solide club sandwich qui fait la job après une journée sur la montagne 🇨🇦

Poutine pis quelques pintes en La Belle Province. 🇨🇦 Après-ski chez L’Abordage, sur la rue Principale à Sutton… rien de compliqué, juste la bonne affaire après une grosse journée dans les glades.

Auberge Sutton Brouërie, where Tina-Louise and the crew somehow make it feel like our home away from home Elevated pub grub. Best in town! A dozen pints on tap. Exactly what you need to recharge the batteries after a long day in the woods. Sutton just has a way about it. ⛷️🍻🇨🇦

#fridaypizzanightwiththegirls in the heart of East Chinatown. The “great compromise pie” from King Bolzano Max. Half this, half that, everybody happy, and very much kiddo-approved. Crispy crust, cheese doing its thing & a table full of ladies who know Friday night means pizza.

Tokyo Kitchen (20 Charles St. E)… slow-cooked beef curry in broth with thick, wide-gauge udon noodles. Sweet onion, mellow spice, beef that’s surrendered to the simmer Not flashy. Just deeply satisfying. The kind of bowl you’ll think about later! Maybe even post about it;) 🇯🇵

Outta town report… If you take the 7 train to Junction Blvd, right at the Corona (Queens) border, you’ll find Taco Veloz. Killer goat (Chivo) tacos with all the trimmings… cilantro, onion, a squeeze of lime, maybe a spoonful of something incendiary if you’re feeling brave! 🇲🇽

We celebrated the birth of our baby-mama drama with a swish dinner at the lovely Treadwell in NOTL. Beautiful room. Killer service. Canadian food and wine doing unspeakably good things together. 🇨🇦 Birthday date night… absolutely delivered. We love you long time, @GiggsySays

Trini breakfast @ Charley’s Caribbean (1158 Morningside) Goat & potato roti, extra pepper… where dhalpourie surrenders to gravy & all sense of restraint quietly disappears. One of those morning meals that doesn’t ask for your attention. It takes it 🇹🇹 #wednesdaysinscarborough
