@GoodGameKofi Gaming has always been expensive. You also have way more options now considering 2nd hand/emulation compared to being bottlenecked by big box stores n gaming boutiques. N64 games were like $60/$70 PS1 Games $50 and that was in the early 2000s we just wasn’t paying for it.

@JoshIsFAB @GoodGameKofi Exactly!! unless your family had endless disposable income you got like 1 or 2 games a year (Christmas/Birthday). Most games I played on PlayStation were on Pizza Hut demo discs or trades w friends lol
I even had to wait to get a memory card bc my mom didn’t know I needed one 😂

Most of my collection (300 purchased/300 PS Plus) are games I bought on sale.
You have WAY more choices now

@TorontoPif @GoodGameKofi Yes and no. We also had platinum selects/greatest hits $20 games. Which were the best selling games after a year or two. Starting on ps1 iirc. Prices went down after time. Today it doesn’t hold true.
