@QuickPaw @chikn_nuggit the really old VCRs weren't effected by macrovision, but we are taking 70s, to early 80s VCRs

@TorqueEffect @chikn_nuggit Oh yeah, I remember. Most electronic stores had pass through devices that stripped macrovision. I think some VCR pass throughs did it too.

@QuickPaw @chikn_nuggit Only if you had a device or VCR that defeats the macrovision on the DVD, or else the VHS recording is going to completely unwatchable.

@TorqueEffect @chikn_nuggit It's not TOO crazy. Some folks would record their DVDs to VHS and give to folks without a DVD player in the early days.
