These are the blooms that surely live up to their name - a tulip named Lilac Wonder. It grows to a height of around 10in & have flourished in my garden for years, with their lilac-pink petals & vivid central zone of gold. Absolute showstoppers!

Rather pleased with the show from our dwarf rhododendron, Princess Anne, this year. It always obliges with those attractive primrose-yellow flowers but this spring it has really pulled out all the stops for, well, a right royal display!
