01. 오늘 아침, 지인을 통해 임재철 평론가가 세상을 떠났다는 소식을 들었다. 그와 알고 지낸 지는 열다섯 해 정도 되었으나 남들보다 더 많은 대화를 나눈 것 같다. 한때는 전화로 매일 서너 시간씩 대화를 나눌 만큼 가깝게 지냈기 때문이다. 그러다 1년 전부터는 그를 멀리했다.
