This is one of the most beautiful things i’ve ever seen in web3 that people in this space actually try to buy dead and abandoned IPs and bring them back to life -> what Monti is doing -> he reached out to buy the SupDucks IP -> the team asked for a 6 figure amount -> Monti said it’s too much and maybe he won’t go through with it -> Adam Weitsman stepped in and said offer them 50k -> Adam said i’ll front you the money and you can run it -> Apes help apes -> everyone got hyped about what Adam did -> the deal is in progress in my opinion, the fact that OG and abandoned IPs get picked up and revived by people and OGs in this space is one of the best and most beautiful things that can happen for it

NFT collections that are dead / dying should be thankful when anybody is willing to commit any amount of work and money to revive it. SupDucks for the sake of its community of bagholders needs to do the right thing and hand it off to the first genuine offer without compensation.

Plz. Penguins never did an airdrop, never gamified creative minting, nor did anything with DeFi until Netz took over. Nines experimented & produced lots of value within the community & did all these things. The truth is the ducks aren’t as cute as penguins and more people got into the project to make profits just like lots of NFT IP. Bag holders are just salty. One man’s IP is his own prerogative.

PP was not dead. Also the market was very different, and owners were literally printing on royalties. Not to mention the IP was thriving on socials and there was a legit potential with the attention Pudgies had. In this scenario, yes supducks were very dead. One ape talked about them and they revived lol

No dead NFT project at this point should be charging anyone willing to takeover the project. Them taking it over is a BAIL OUT. You don’t get paid to get bailed out.

Luca Netz paid $2.5 Mil for Pudgy Penguins & reinvested another 500k to revive a coveted IP. But 100k (allegedly) is Nines being too stingy?! LMAO. He gave back 10x the creative capacity & actually followed through on airdrops & more. The audacity to question someone’s evaluation of their own IP is comical. But sure keep gaslighting when you’ve nvr created anything close to a successful project as the Ducks.
