I’m on board with the SGA is an all-time great train but can we also acknowledge that Luka is playing vs the best collection of perimeter defensive talent…ever?
Is that not important?
It doesn’t make SGA any less great but we can agree it’s harder for other guards to face OKC.

They eat Luka alive. He’s averaged 15.5 PPG with 5.0 TOVs on 43.4% TS with a -56 +- in two games vs. OKC this year. Real numbers. Yeesh.

This is the #1 problem with the way the game is called now. SGA can use his arms to push the defender away, but as the defender tries to recover and reaches, he’s called for the foul. It’s a foul on SGA first but it’s (almost) never called vs. FTs on marginal contact.
