🇺🇸 Memorial Day Tribute 🇺🇸 On this Memorial Day, we remember Bob Kalsu. A standout offensive lineman for the Sooners in the 1960s, Kalsu went on to play for the Buffalo Bills in the NFL. He was called to active duty and became the only active NFL player to die in the Vietnam War in 1970. True Sooner. True American. True hero. Thank you for your service, Lt. Kalsu. Literally the perfect answer. Its what makes that game so great. Even when you are the underdog. Even when you know it will SUCK to be there if OU loses. Its worth the reward of being there when the Sooners win. Nothing beats it.

@Jay945495828136 It definitely came out of nowhere. Although the 1999 game started that way in the first quarter, before the wheels came off.

@TouchdownOkla I’m going with the 2000 route. Given what OU went through with Schnelly and Blake, that was a more impactful win for the program. Plus whooping up on a rival that absolutely no one saw was just awesome. Those two factors make it the best game ever for me.

@JosephGBranson The Shipley KO return flipped that game. Thought OU was cruising before that.

@TouchdownOkla The 2008 Sooners were probably the best OU team I ever saw Texas beat. Not trash talking at all, that Sooner team was fantastic,
