Fastrack is now available for CBeebies Land on a selection of attractions, priced at £7 for Duo and £10 for Trio. Attractions include Bluey the Ride (from 30th March), Octonauts, Go Jetters, In the Night Garden Magical Boat Ride and Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure.

The first day of the 2026 season has drawn to a close at Alton Towers. Whilst there’s no denying that the park looks great after dark, the combination of staggered openings, ride closures & reduced capacity on some of the open attractions has proved a frustrating combination.

New for Alton After Dark 2026 is Symphony of the Towers, a light and music spectacular where the iconic Towers ruins become the stage for a dazzling orchestration of colour, projection and sound 🏰✨ The show runs everyone 15 minutes from 18:30-20:15.

There have been some notable park improvement projects over the closed season, including a new accessibility ramp at Rita, repaving of pathways around the theme park, and at Towers Street - facade painting and the relocation of the exterior seating area at Corner Coffee.

Although the season is underway, Runaway Mine Train, Skyride, the Monorail, Congo River Rapids and Battle Galleons all remain closed. While the former three are said to be undergoing essential maintenance, the two water rides are not planned to open until May this year.

With today seeing the return of Alton After Dark, the Towers Street frogs have received new theming, alongside the addition of signage after the turnstiles 🌙

At the entrance plaza, the yellow repaint of the Corkscrew has now been completed. Are you pleased to see the iconic original colour restored, or did you prefer the purple?

With Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies! set to open in two weeks’ time, work on the new coaster is nearing completion. Since last weekend, further progress has been made on the ride area and station theming, as well as the queue line and overall landscaping.

With no new attraction opening today, we’ve headed to Nemesis Reborn for our first ride of 2026! What are you planning to be your first ride at Alton Towers this season?
