The northbound Highway 17 off-ramp to East Los Gatos Boulevard will be closed from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday, May 17 through Thursday, May 21, 2026 for construction. A detour will be in place.

Today's #tbtLG is a school building photo circa 1875. The first classes in Los Gatos were held in a building near the Ten Mile House on Oak Street (now Montebello Way). In 1863, an elementary school was built on property that later belonged to the Cleveland Estate on Saratoga Ave

Today’s #tbtLG is the interior of Bogart’s Hardware at 14 N. Santa Cruz Ave in LG before 1916. The business was later purchased by A.W. Templeman and moved in 1926 to 24 N. Santa Cruz Ave, where it still stands and once housed the Town’s first freight elevator. #LosGatosHistory
