There is poverty in this country now on a scale I honestly thought would never exist again in the UK. Things got fixed when we had a Labour government for over a decade. They won’t get fixed by a government that won’t even recognise the scale of the problem 2/4

Isn’t it grotesque to see our Prime Minister, one of the richest men in the country, lecturing us all about how working people should be satisfied with unfair wages?

So now we have reached 15 children who have died from Strep A infection and 47 adults too. Infections like this are often opportunistic and take advantage of weakened immune systems. It's possible that C19 has caused those weaknesses in my opinion. news.sky.com/story/strep-a-…

I've got to say it's powerful marketing that tells you that catching one virus will make you more able to fight off another. Astonishing. Viruses damage you. They don't make you stronger. They harm you. This is not complicated.

Apparently there's a nasty mystery virus going around that is a bit like flu in the early stages, but can cause strokes and heart attacks and kidney failure and trigger diabetes and fatigue and kill you. And here's the really weird thing about it... I mean seriously weird...

Last night I voted to scrap the non-dom tax status so the wealthy have to pay their taxes like everyone else. Doing that would raise £3 BILLION per year. That's such a vast amount that it could pay for 80,000 nurses per year! The Tories didn't even bother voting.

It's depressing how much of our national life is spent arguing over whether we truly need to treat all people with dignity and respect.
