After last nights Sectional meet in Rochelle, we will be heading down to Chuck Town next Thursday to compete at Eastern Illinois University for the State meet. Qualifiers will be posted soon!

Aalin Schmidt finishes the 3200m in 3rd place with a time of 10:23.44a

Joseph Holcomb earned three top 3 finishes getting 1st in the 400m dash (PR’d) 2nd in the 200m dash, and 3rd in the 100m dash!

We had three top 5 finishes in the 400m dash and they all set PRs! Joseph Holcomb: 50.27a (1st) Maurice Delacruz: 50.55a (2nd) Aiden Lacy: 51.20a (4th)

4x200 Relay finished with a time of 1:30.57 putting them at 2nd place in the conference showdown. (Cole Stumpenhorst, Quincy Mass, Ryan Gebhardt, Derek Prieto)

4x800 gets 2nd and sets a PR after running 8:35.46a (Charles Johnson, Isaiah Rojop, Ian Hilty, Derek Prieto)

4x100 earns 1st place after finishing with a time of 42.40a 🥇 (L-R: Ryan Gebhardt, Joseph Holcomb, Maurice Delacruz, Kaedon Phillips)

4x400 also took 1st place at conference after running 3:26.87 🥇 (L-R: Aiden Lacy, Quincy Mass, Derek Prieto, Cole Stumpenhorst)

Parker Blakeslee finishes the 800m in 1st place after an epic duel for 1st. Parker also set his PR last night by running a 1:59.83! Well done, Parker. 🥇

Top 30 Update: - Ryan Gebhardt moves into the top 30 in the 200m dash with a time of 22.68 putting him at #18 -Joseph Holcomb moves into #8 in the 400m dash after running a 50.38 - Aalin Schmidt ranks at 15th in the mile after running it in 4:29.76

TOP 30 update headed into Conference this week: - 4x400 is currently #2 of all time missing the school record by just .33s - Sophomore 4x200 ranked #17 of all time with a time of 1:31.34 - 4x100 is ranked #2 of all time just .07s off of the school record.

Tonight join the SHS Track program as we host our 73rd annual Friday Night Relays. Our Seniors will be honored in between field and running events (approx. 5:50p) Come out and show your support!
