Yohanes Van Meerten has narrowed his recruitment down to five schools: UNC, Florida, Oregon, Wake Forest and BYU. He already visited UNC and is scheduled to visit Wake Forest on Thursday. Oklahoma State, previously in his top six, is no longer in consideration.

NCAA 100m bronze medalist Jelani Watkins has transferred from LSU to Arkansas. He will continue to participate in both track and football.

The NCAA has removed the transfer portal window that previously existed following the indoor season. There are no changes to the fall portal windows or the 30 day window that follows the outdoor season.

4-Star Quinn Sullivan (2027) of Niwot (CO) has taken two official visits so far: Colorado and Stanford. He plans six more: BYU, Duke, NAU, UNC, Wake Forest and Washington. Sullivan expects to announce his commitment in March.
