@abracing0 Disagree. It’d be push button stuff on Con Hill. If the French jockey club, had any common sense in the world, they’d open the ARC up to geldings this year, Nicky would run ConHill. Record attendances would follow. It’s the best business decision they could ever make.

@Bi11y04 @TracksideJay Top 6 imho, Vautour achieved more than Douvan and at his best was one of the best I’ve ever seen and Annie Power didn’t race that much but was ridiculously talented at all trips really

@TracksideJay Sorry to hear mate. Who was the horse? I remember Many Clouds back in 2017 but thats when I only just started watching racing sporadically. Really does get to you when its your favourite. Didn’t expect this feeling at all.

I really don’t know where to start as this is by far the saddest moment i’ve experienced in racing. That being said, a little appreciation post from me. Envoi Allen was my racing hero. My favourite horse of all time. The horse which was the reason I fell in love with this sport. Gone… after after what was his final ever race whilst taking his first steps into retirement. What was supposed to be a fairytale or storyline ending became the polar opposite. So devastatingly sad. He was the catalyst behind all the passion I have for racing and my time following this sport will no longer be the same with him not around. Genuinely. 31 Races 🐎 17 Wins🥇 10 Grade 1s🏅 3 Cheltenham Victories🏆 £1,000,000+ in Prize Money💰 King of Down Royal & horse of a lifetime There really is only one Envoi Allen 🔴⚪️ I’ll always remember your 11 race winning streak between 2018-21 that was incredibly special to follow and be a part of. Proving all the doubters wrong, coming back to beat Shishkin in the Ryanair & winning a record 3rd Irish Champion Chase worthy of a statue just a few months ago. A peak rating of 165 & 10 Grade one wins - you achieved what only <0.1% of NH horses go onto achieve and had a career most could never even imagine having. Rest in Paradise old boy, thanks for all the memories you gave to us fans and thanks for making me fall in love with this amazing sport, which at times can be so cruel to its strongest warriors.🕊️💔 You owed nobody a thing and deserved to stroll off into the sunset for a long, happy retirement for the rest of your days. I wish I was able to see you race in person which is a regret of mine. Legend and all time great. Gone but never forgotten, Envoi Allen 🐎👑 No selections today guys, I’ll be back soon.

The way Ruby is clicking his fingers to the rhythm of the stride before the last fence here is magic to me. That's a horseman right there (obviously) we're very lucky to have him as a pundit.
