@TradersParadise Similar sentiment. Likely to retrace this move up and head lower by end of next week.

So this is an expected index futures move up as we figured we’d get big ups off ceasefire news. /VX has also collapsed. But… CPI, PCE, GDP, Michigan and FOMC Minutes all this week. They are going to be pretty bad so market is likely to start pricing that in as early as tomorrow. This is a high region to short from leading into the real market movers this week. Not tonight during London, or off this squeeze momentum, but possibly tomorrow night though. War stuff will likely stop creating any bullish momentum, rather the continuation of any fighting would only create bearish. And earnings are likely to not be so great. Next week we’re likely to price all of this upside out, and I don’t feel like this is generational long opportunity.

Nobody talks about the part between quitting your job and actually making it as a Trader. I lived it. Waking up every morning knowing there's no paycheck coming. No boss to blame. Just me, my charts, and a family counting on me to figure it out. I spent 3 years watching other traders post wins while I was journaling losses and trying to understand why I kept breaking my own rules. The hardest part wasn't losing $13,000 in a day. It was sitting down the next morning and choosing to trade smaller, follow the plan, and trust a process that hadn't paid off yet. Previous job gave me $10-12K a month and took my whole life. Trading gives me my whole life back, but only after it took everything I thought I knew about myself. If you're having trouble trading right now, still breaking rules, still frustrated, still wondering if this is even going to work. The only difference between then and now is I stopped trying to be great and started trying to be consistent.
