Shortly after my dad passed away, the car he loved more than anything, the one that’s been in our family for over 20 years, broke down completely. At that time, I didn’t have the strength to even think about fixing it. The grief was too fresh, and every time I looked at that car, it reminded me of him… of the drives we had, the talks, the silence, everything. I actually tried to get it repaired back then but there were no parts left anywhere. The car was simply too old. And hearing “there are no parts for it anymore” hit harder than I expected. It felt like losing another piece of him. Almost two years later, after searching everywhere, after refusing to give up… the car is finally repaired. It starts. It moves. It lives again. And today, when I sat inside and turned the key… I felt something I haven’t felt in a long time. Happiness. Real happiness. Not the kind i got when i bought my BMW M5. Not the kind i got from a Rolex on my wrist. This feeling was different, deeper. Because it wasn’t about money. It was about memories coming back to life. It made me happier than any “luxury” purchase I ever did. And it reminded me of something important: You can’t buy the things that matter. Sometimes it’s the smallest things, full of memories and emotion, that bring you back to yourself and make you smile again. ❤️

It's actually getting ridiculous how much of a 🟢 streak this algo is currently on 🤯 Adding algos to my trading portfolio was honestly one of the best decisions I made.

Against my better judgment - I ended up taking another big L day last night! Down to only $400 drawdown in my funded 50k Pro's, tight but not dead yet. Couple things to cover in this post mortem: 1) the ES traded a force sweep earlier in the evening, when the NQ did not (and its earnings week). This is going to be added as a confluence "no trade" indicator for me... If other major indices trade the "ForceSweep" setup during the period I want the NQ to trade it -> but the NQ DOES NOT fill -> this becomes a "no trade scenario" going forward. 2) Psychology of streaming is wild -> I forgot how demanding it is mentally to have to perform for an audience. Not an excuse, but reality is I am a trader and there is literally 0 room for errors or second guessing ones self. Streaming really does throw a wrench in those gears! 3) Gap considerations. I typically do not ignore gaps, but in the spirit of Mag 7 earnings volatility, its not unexpected to see Gaps get "run from" rather than "pulled too" -> obviously not the case this week. Don't get me wrong "gaps are meant to be filled". Either way, was one more warning signal I ignored to still enter this trade. 4) I entered the trade later than I am comfortable AND after shutting down the stream. Here I am telling you all to shut it down; but I decided taking the 1/2 size was still a valid setup (and for all intense and purpose, it was); it just wasn't a high probability one, and I ignored warning signs. Trading is hard. The hardest. Need to get back to base hits and basics for me. The game is won by inches, not miles; let the grind begin. Onto the next one.
