Here is a quick 1 minute clip from "The Masters of Trading" Dan Zanger interview back in 2005. Dan highlights some very important points which still hold true today and even more so in this current 2025 market. - Not to be in the market all the time - Less trading - Limit exposure ( 3 - 4 positions max) - Stalk the market and let it set up - Anticipate 2 - 3 big trend moves per year. ( 8 - 12 weeks per move ) - Let it set up all over again. Trade less! A big part of my strategy is concentrated positions and to hit these positions when the deck is stacked in my favor. I talk about this a lot on here but I think this clip sums it up perfectly! @traderstewie @AOTtrades

@sp3cul8r My take is there are plenty of trades out there both swing and day trade wise but the mechanics of the moves are very muted. Its like price discovery has been turned off. Price levels seem very loose. Some things hold and some things don't contained within the same sectors.

@TraderZ AGREED… have been saying this too. It’s almost like something has changed it mechanically. Don’t know if it’s how options now affect everything, or, Ai entering the market? Behavior has just been so off

This market has made very little technical sense for a very long time.

Good morning Stewie and AoT! $QQQ opening below the 200D SMA. Support below sits at $580. Slow and steady for me today here. Maybe an avalanche play somewhere in the mix at some point today. Not quite sure where that is at the moment though. I'll look if we start to get some downside momentum.

Whenever I see a partnership I wonder where the money to be made is? Drivers, manufacturers ( $RIVN ) and $UBER all splitting one pot.

@traderk_1 @AOTtrades You're right! Grabbing pieces from one style into the next and working it into your own style is super important. Nobody knows how you trade except you so you might as well make that the best it can be with techniques and styles that sort of fit into what you like as a trader.
