🚨 DON’T BLOCK HOPE. GIVE WAY. 🚑
When an ambulance approaches with sirens on, remember—someone inside is fighting for their life.
On 06/05/2026, a vehicle failed to give way to an ambulance for a considerable stretch despite continuous sirens. A&N Traffic Police imposed a fine of ₹10,000 on the offender.
⚖️ As per Section 194E of the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019, whoever while driving a motor vehicle fails to draw to the side of the road, on the approach of a fire service vehicle or of an ambulance or other emergency vehicle, is punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 6 months, or with a fine of ₹10,000 or with both.
👉 Give way. Save lives. It’s not optional—it’s law.
