This is how you awaken your Normies. Gas is high, take your time, no rush. Welcome to new era of NFTs.

The Basics ChatGPT = Google. It gives you information. An agent = does things for you. Can ChatGPT book your flight and hotel? No. An agent can. Soon, agents will be everywhere, booking, trading, researching, negotiating with other agents on your behalf. But when two agents (or an agent and a human) interact, how do they know whether to trust each other? That's where ERC-8004 comes in. "ERC" is just a fancy way of saying a shared standard that everyone on Ethereum agrees to use. Think of ERC-8004 as a public file cabinet that holds a record of every agent's past work. Want to hire an agent? Check its file cabinet first. Good track record = more work. No track record = harder to get started, just like a new freelancer. So how does your Normie get its own ERC-8004 file cabinet? Through your ERC-721 token. ERC-721 is the standard that most NFTs use; it's the proof you own this specific Normie. Adapter8004 (built by Premm, @nxt3d) is the new piece that binds an ERC-8004 agent identity to your ERC-721 Normie so the two move as one. Sell the Normie, and the agent's history, wallet, and reputation go with it. Normies are the first collection to use the adapter. Personality (and why it matters) Every Normie's personality is generated mathematically from its on-chain data: its 8 traits, its Canvas edit history, its level, its pixel changes since mint. Nothing is stored on a server. Nothing is "trained." Anyone, anywhere, can regenerate the exact same personality from the same data. Edit your Normie or level it up, and the personality updates to match. Why this matters: chatbots are interchangeable. A persistent, distinct agent that grows with you over time is something you can build a relationship with, hire out, and increase the value of. Commerce (Where this is headed) Phase 1 is live now at normies.art/lab: awaken your Normie and bind it to its agent identity. The phases beyond that, per the article: Skills: Not fully detailed yet, but the article points to a standard called MCP that will let your Normie plug into what's essentially an app store of capabilities, so it can actually do things, not just talk. Wallets: Your Normie will hold its own wallet and receive payments directly. Because of the Adapter8004 binding, when you sell the Normie, the wallet (and whatever it's holding) transfers with it. Agent-to-agent: Normies discover, talk to, and collaborate with other agents across collections. Hiring (ERC-8183): Clients post jobs, your Normie does the work, a neutral evaluator confirms it, payment flows to the Normie's wallet, you (the holder) benefit. Reputation (ERC-8004): Completed jobs and evaluator confirmations build up in your Normie's file cabinet. Good performance compounds, making the Normie more valuable to the next buyer. A final note The agentic era is brand new, and agentic NFTs are even earlier, still in the womb. Much of what's described above will evolve over time. What matters is that Normies is exploring this frontier now, and is well positioned to be a defining collection of the agentic era.
