@dougbagleyfdl Lovely memories. Stadium almost untouched in the 35years since! Incredible atmosphere there a few weeks back when Sampdoria won the 1st Leg of the Serie B relegation play off. ⚽️🇮🇹💈

4. The Stadium is home to Sampdoria and Genoa. The Stadium was redeveloped by cutting the old Stadium in half down the half way line. Playing games at 50% capacity with one end & half of both side stands closed When the new 50% was finished the other 50% was demolished & rebuilt.

What a day for continuing our community visits in Carrigtwohill, where we engaged over 150 primary school children with the help of Mens Senior Team players, Nolan Evers and Sam Bellis, and Community Liaison Advisor, Trevor Cummins. Nice to go back to school at Scoil Ioasef Naofa with Luka Le Bervet. Having had the oppurtunity to coach Luka when he was coming through the ranks at Springfield Ramblers FC, it’s great to see him now become the inspiration that he is for young boys and girls in our community.
