I only saw my husband 4 times last year. Because I am a conservationist. And coincidentally, he is also a conservationist. #trangnguyen #wildlifeconservation #conservationists

DEAD BY VIRUS
Agents seized 271 illegally selling birds and transported them in groups to the Wildlife Screening Center (CETAS) in Fortaleza.
Within days, some small, multicolored African lovebirds, from the genus Agapornis began to sicken — and die. Targeted by the pet trade, these parrots sometimes carry circovirus, a genus of viruses that afflict a wide range of birds.
In total, about 80 birds had to be euthanized due to either circovirus or polyomavirus infection.

This is blatant animal abuse, imagine you drug a person and let other people do anything with them.

The moment Gracie arrived, our first priority was clear, to surgically remove the rope, a symbol of cruelty, pain, and captivity.
You can see the deep wounds it left behind, caused by years of being tightly restrained. This was not just about freeing her physically, but ensuring the procedure was carried out safely under expert veterinary care.
She will never have to endure that restraint again.
Her journey to complete rehabilitation is long and economically demanding, you can support gracie's wellbeing today:
Indian donors can contribute here: wildlife-sos.danamojo.org/dm/gracies-sto…

Stay tuned for more updates on Gracie's health.

Absolute scum 😡!
Eight ‘men’ arrested in Brazil for beating a Capybara with sticks and metal bars in Rio de Janeiro.
"It is an act of extreme cruelty toward a creature that posed absolutely no threat... yet was deliberately attacked nonetheless," police commissioner said.

Rhinos return to Uganda after 43 YEARS!
Last seen in Kidepo Valley National Park in 1983 (wiped out by poaching).
On March 17–19, two southern white rhinos were translocated from Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary — the first of eight planned to rebuild the population in the vast savanna.
Conservation + anti-poaching works. Here is the proof.

GOOD NEWS: In a historic comeback, rhinos have returned to the wild in Uganda for the first time in over 40 years—reviving a species once wiped out by poaching in the 1980s.

@Protect_Wldlife Some evil don't deserve dogs.
Or, just deserve to be bitten by dogs.

Now that’s what I call a PROPER jail sentence for animal abuse!! 👏 👏
Vincent Lemark Burrell of Paulding County, Georgia, was sentenced to 475 years in prison in 2025 for running an extensive Dog fighting operation and committing animal cruelty.
The case began in November 2022 after an Amazon delivery driver noticed over 100 abused pit Bulls in poor condition on the property and reported it to authorities.
He was convicted on 103 charges, including dog fighting and animal cruelty. Many of the dogs were chained with no food or water and showed signs of neglect.
Police also found dog fighting tools, drugs, and a live bait.
Well done that Amazon delivery man 👍.

@Rainmaker1973 This cannot apply to human. Even when women fake death, some scumbags will still do the bad things to us.

🚨 #TriggerWarning #UrgentRescueAlert
Chained. Blinded. Her muzzle pierced with a hot iron rod.
On #WorldBearDay, while the world celebrates bears, this is the reality one female sloth bear was still living.
Rescued from Jamtara, Jharkhand, with the support of the Forest Department, this 12 year old survivor had spent her life trapped in the illegal ‘dancing bear’ trade, controlled through pain and fear.
Her teeth were violently removed, leaving her unable to defend herself. The rope and chain cut deep into her muzzle, causing severe injuries. She was found weak, unwell, and blind in one eye due to past trauma.
We have named her Gracie.
She now needs urgent medical care and a chance to heal. Please give today and support her recovery:
Indian donors can contribute here: wildlife-sos.danamojo.org/dm/gracies-sto…
For donors outside India: give.wildlifesos.org/page/30266/don…
On #WorldBearDay, we continue our unwavering commitment to rescue, protect, and give India’s bears the life they deserve. We are deeply grateful to International Animal Rescue for their unwavering support in helping us rescue and care for bears like her.

A monumental achievement
After being thought extinct for over 150 years, a rare species has made an unexpected return to Australia’s wilds, thanks to innovative conservation efforts.
The bandicoots are not just surviving but thriving in their new home. Motion-sensor cameras set up to monitor the relocated animals captured a remarkable sight: a female bandicoot with three young ones following closely behind her.
This breakthrough discovery provided the first concrete evidence that the relocated population was successfully breeding in the wild.
