This has been a long time coming, and we confess that it was prompted by others making similar decisions, but Trans Activism UK is officially disbanding. If you’ve been looking at our social media, you’ll know that we’ve been inactive for a long time.

We’ll end this with a horribly cliche thing that we’ve said at pretty much all of our protests: Trans people protest simply by waking up and taking a breath. Your existence is a form of activism, and that will never change.

So we’re not just saying goodbye, we’re also saying ‘thank you’ to all of the people fighting for transgender, nonbinary and gender diverse people in the UK, at a time when things are, to be frank, fucking terrifying. You give us hope when it feels like there is none.
