BIG UPDATE FOR OUR SUTTER NETWORK 🔭 We're excited to announce a fully operational observatory deployed in Badajoz, Spain 🇪🇦 We want to thank our partner E-Eye for hosting our newest system. This new enclosure is the 1st operating system in Europe and is now the 5th global installment of the Sutter system (joining three in America and one in Australia). This deployment significantly expands our access to the night sky, enhancing both temporal and geographic coverage for observing near-Earth space 🌌 By adding a European site, we improve our ability to track detections globally and uncover objects that were not visible from our existing locations. Powered by MIDAS, our observatories operate as an integrated, coordinated network—demonstrating how an inter-connected distributed system can outperform isolated assets 🌐 Data from these systems will be of great importance across industry and academia.

Last week, TransAstra hosted an industry networking night in Altadena...and what a fantastic gathering it was! 🙌 We’re incredibly grateful to all the companies and individuals who joined us for an evening of great conversations, new connections, and shared excitement about the future of space and deep tech. In 2025, we moved from lab concepts to in-space demonstrations — scaling, testing, and validating the Capture Bag as a practical system for asteroid capture, orbital logistics, and in-space resource utilization. This year was about proving what’s possible. Next year is about maturing, deploying, and commercializing. We’re building toward a future where space resources are accessible, movable, and usable — and this is just the beginning. Stay tuned for what’s coming next.

As we continue to grow and operationalize our technology we're exploring partnership opportunities. To that end Alex Pilmer & Thibaud Talon toured JPL's Rover Operations Center yesterday. Their facilities and expertise are a great compliment to what we do, and we are excited about the prospect for future collaboration and partnership. Behind the scenes: TransAstra’s Sutter Telescope Our engineering team completed final testing and packaging of our fourth Sutter Telescope — the newest addition to our global network. The Sutter system provides full-sky monitoring across cislunar space, supporting space-domain awareness, object tracking, and asteroid prospecting with high-precision optical sensing. This unit is now headed to Spain, joining three other Sutter telescopes already operating worldwide and expanding our international capability footprint.

Another Sutter TKO is on its way to Spain Today we shipped our latest Sutter TKO (Turn Key Observatory) for deployment in Spain. With each site, our network expands coverage, improves tipping and cueing, and strengthens space domain awareness for our customers and partners. Spain adds new longitude, more night sky time, and better detection of fast or faint objects across key orbits. Thank you to the TransAstra engineers and partners who built, tested, and shipped this system, especially: Harrison, EJ, Denver, Phil, Pat, Eric Chen, Gabe, Welli & Seth . We appreciate your craft and persistence in the face of a very tight deadline.
