At Easter dinner today, I noticed that we had a bunch of these for dessert.

Actually, PPPs are to some extent, with strict stipulations. I worked a 6-month stint doing pre-underwriting during the first round. You have to make your payments for a year before its forgiven, and all use of funds it strictly for the business receiving the loan for overhead (salaries, rent, utilities, etc.) If a cent is spent on anything outside the scope of business, the recipient of the loan will have to pay the loan back with interest and penalties, and may be prosecuted. Its called a loan, not a grant, for a reason.

I still can’t believe what happened last night. The way U.S. special forces went into enemy territory in the middle of the night to rescue a fellow brother-in-arms who had been there for 48 hours, completely alone and surviving. An absolute movie.

It seems that Dr. needs to be investigated throughly. It wouldn't surprise me if he is receiving kickbacks for unnecessary procedures and has quite the Racket going on. PART 2 — continuing right from Part 1… now it gets absolutely crazy. The NICU doctor was clearly upset that the mom wasn’t doing the light therapy and was instead following her pediatrician’s plan of care for her son. She requested a patient advocate and a staff meeting so they could figure out how to move forward with discharging both her and the baby. Hours later everyone gathered in her hospital room for the meeting. Her pediatrician had already told the hospital the baby was under her practice’s care, but the NICU doctor was dead-set that if the mom left, it would cause her baby tremendous brain damage and that she was putting her son at harm. She describes how, right in the middle of the staff meeting, police suddenly burst into her maternity room with guns drawn while she’s sitting in the hospital chair with her newborn. You see her raw reaction and the chaotic aftermath once they’re told to leave. This whole story left me stunned — such a powerful reminder that truth always finds its way and standing your ground as a parent is everything.
