Slíbil zúčtování a potrestání zločinů odcházející vlády. Vyzval k rezignaci prezidenta Sulyoka, který v tu chvíli ještě seděl v sále. Magyar se pak omluvil “všem, z nichž vláda dělala nepřátele”: zmínil novináře, neziskovky, učitele, lékaře, a zvlášť se jménem státu omluvil obětem sexuálního násilí v institucích státu. Magyar mluvil o službě vlasti: „Nebudu panovat, ale sloužit. Sloužit, dokud bude moje služba užitečná. Nestojím tu teď proto, že bych byl jiný, než kdokoli v této zemi. Nejsem. Jsem tu proto, že miliony Maďarů se rozhodly pro změnu. Pracovat pro tuto zemi je povznášející. Není na světě žádné další místo, kde by se tolik talentu, výdrže, bolesti a vůle k životu vešlo do příběhu jednoho národa. Maďarsko je úžasné, protože se tolikrát umělo postavit znovu a znovu na nohy.“ Řekl také, že je symbolické, že na konci dvou dekád Orbánovy a Gyurcsányovy éry ani jeden z nich nesedí v parlamentu, protože oba prohráli. Slíbil také, že nová vláda se spravedlivě vypořádá s dědictvím této éry. Jeden z prvních kroků prý bude „vytvoření Úřadu pro ochranu a znovuzískání národního majetku.“ Magyar také řekl, že podle odhadu Tiszy byl v minulých letech ukraden majetek v hodnotě 20 tisíc miliard forintů, tedy asi 1,34 bilionu korun. „V posledních dnech ještě rozkradli všechno, s čím se dalo pohnout,“ dodal Magyar. Vymezil se taky proti vládním kampaním z posledních let: „Děti vyrůstaly v permanentní nenávistné politické kampani, starší lidé se děsili budoucnosti a války. Politika, která si cynicky hrála s umělým vyvoláváním strachu, otrávila duševní stav celého národa.“ (…) Maďarský stát už nikdy nesmí nic takového svým vlastním občanům udělat. 12. dubna tato éra jednou provždy skončila,“ řekl Magyar. Slíbil, že zahájí přezkoumání ústavního systému Maďarska, posílí princip brzd a protivah a omezí mandát premiéra na dvě volební období. Omluvil se “všem, ze kterých stát dělal nepřítele: novinářům, občanským organizacím, učitelům, lékařům a všem veřejně činným lidem.” Zbytek Magyarovy vlády má být jmenován nejspíš v úterý nebo ve středu.

Merkel is directly responsible of the current destruction of Germany’s economic model — and indirectly for a large part of Europe’s economic weakness. Germany shut down nuclear power, which once represented around 25% of its electricity generation. While keeping debt extremely low instead of using its massive fiscal capacity to invest aggressively in nuclear, renewables, hydrogen, storage and grid infrastructure. This happened while Germany’s entire economic model depended on industrial exports and a large current account surplus — both directly linked to energy-cost differentials versus its competitors. A country whose exports represent around 47–50% of GDP is committing economic suicide when it gives away its energy sovereignty. Merkel did not just make a policy mistake. She helped break the German economic model.
