We urge the City to select projects using the following standards: 1. Go beyond district-by-district planning. 2. Safety first. 3. Centering community context & equity. 4. Network connectivity.

🚲 Miami’s 2026 Bike Master Plan is being finalized, and the City of Miami Commission is committing to 10 priority bike projects to be built within 5 years. Which projects get chosen will shape how people move through this city for decades. We’re urging the Commission to choose those projects using transparent, community-backed criteria that prioritize safety, equity, and connectivity over politics. Sign the petition! actionnetwork.org/petitions/2775…

The City of Miami is finalizing its 2026 Bicycle Master Plan: a citywide blueprint for where bike infrastructure gets built next. Our goal is to ensure that this bike masterplan has real accountability. ⚠️ That’s why we developed criteria for the 10 projects the City must prioritize building within the next 5 years, to ensure the neighborhoods that need safer streets most actually get them. We worked with Bike Coconut Grove and Healthy Little Havana to develop these criteria, and continue to refine them through public feedback. Safe bike infrastructure doesn’t just help cyclists. It means fewer cars on the road, lower costs of living, and real freedom of choice for how you move through Miami. 🚲 #BikeMiami #SafeStreets #BicycleMasterPlan #MiamiUrbanismo #MiamiPlanning

@IRideMDT If so! UNPIN the orange line shuttle service notice and put some alerts on GoApp, because folks aren’t planning their commute from X or IG and notices on the train themselves contradict this🙃@IRideMDT
