@Transmokopter @shanselman No, it's not a "mix", and yes, socialism is "binary". Either the state owns and controls the means of production and there is no private property, or it doesn't and people are free to start and own companies and private property is protected by law.

@ArdentArchivis1 @SteveGaroood @jdpoc Tablespoon and teaspoon are exact measurements, but they aren’t 10-based. Teaspoon = 5ml, tablespoon = 3 teaspoons. A table sooon is 6 2/3 dl. And there aren’t any tablespoons as small as a tablespoon measure :)

@SteveGaroood @jdpoc To be fair, teaspoon, tablespoon, “salt measure” and “spice measure” doesn’t make all that much sense either (they are all over European recipes). But those are our exceptions. Base 10 is pretty much everywhere else.

@erinstellato I only get to see the output and based on that, you’re doing an awesome job.

Having a moment where I fully recognize the magnitude of my decisions... We have many internal discussions between PM and engineering about what we can do, what we should do, and why. Folks may not agree with every decision we make, but we are doing our best.
