Tucker Carlson being out at Fox is huge. He was one of the biggest target-callers for an audience primed to violence against LGBTQ people. Deplatforming him from a huge conservative audience is a major blow to the anti-lgbtq right.

We are not being hyperbolic when we say people will die as a result of these extreme, violent political actions.

So I think about anyone in my similar situation & can only fathom the feelings of dread, confusion and despair. This was never about kids, this was never about sports. It’s about the eradication they’re loudly speaking about, they’re saying the quiet parts of their hatred aloud

The attempt to ban trans healthcare in Missouri just shows me that if I’d stayed in my hometown (Saint Louis) I would have never found pathways to being nonbinary. I’d have been in an oppressive household in an increasingly bigoted state. And it would have been bad.
